"Nice radio, but tuning is a bit weak..." 2010-02-01
By David L. Smith (Memphis, TN)
This is a nice radio. I had searched and searched for a radio with digital FM tuning, and I found this one on Amazon.com and ordered it. For the most part I am pleased with the radio. The instructions aren't the most user friendly, but if you'll take a few minutes to absorb, it comes to you. The only complaint I have with the radio is the fact that the FM antenna is built into the power cord, and it will only pick up "strong" local stations. Unfortunately, my listening preference is for a station that isn't a strong local station, but rather than return the radio, I've tuned to another station, of which I'm not nearly so fond. Good luck with yours!

 "Died after one year" 2010-01-17
By Bob Stanley (Evergreen, CO USA)
I received this radio as a gift. The fuctions and design were good. The display was very bright even when adjusted all the way down, I found it necessary to cover it up at night. After about one year it completely died and after several calls to RCA (actually audiovox) I finally gave up trying to get the parts or specs to repair it. Very bad support. It would have cost me almost as much as the radio to have them work on it. DONT buy this product.

 "This doesn't play MP3 discs" 2010-01-11
By T. Benson (Tennesee Valley)
This unit does everything the description claims except play MP3 formatted discs. Currently I go to sleep listening to a MP3 playlist with a $20 MP3 player that's connected to this with a 1/8 inch stereo audio jack, but this means I have to recharge the MP3 player every day. Also I have to really crank up the volume on the MP3 player and the clock radio in order to hear any sound at all (this is probably the MP3 player's fault).

My next clock radio will probably have an IPOD dock and I'll buy a cheap IPOD to connect to it.

 "RCA CD Clock radio" 2009-09-20

this is the second one I bought; however, this one does not go up as loud on the volume. The previous one I could turn up louder and still hear it in the bathroom etc. Everything else is the same and I like it.

 "Great for 18 months" 2009-07-03
By M. Lacey (Houston USA)
Great sound, easy access snooze button, 2 alarms, multi-color display. Now 18 months after the purchase, the CD door won't open (Ingrid Michaelson is stuck inside) and the AM signal/volume slowly ramps up and down at random. Now that I see that they are $30 at an Amazon partner, I debating whether I should just get another one or something else. I bought this one for less than $30 at as a substitute for one that was out of stock (since they charged me the out-of-stock's price), which was about $40 off back then.
