I like the looks and small amount of space it takes up on the nightstand, but it appears that if you touch it anywhere when the alarm is going off, it goes into snooze. I thought I turned the alarm off this morning, but the radio was back on when I re-entered the bedroom from having my coffee. The display is very bright also, and I like it dark when I sleep. Of course, I haven't read the manual. My last clock radio had 2 settings for the display. I can only hope....

I suppose I could have attempted to return the item but the cost and trouble of returning it would have matched the cost of the item. The volume control is defective. It is either no volume or blaring loud and nothing in between. Sometimes what you set it for at night is not the volume it goes off at in the morning. Never had this problem with any other alarm clock. Very junky item.

I bought this and after using it a few times, I wish I would not have bought it.

Knobs are impossible to turn when wet (small, round and smooth) just what you DON'T want in a shower radio.

When you turn it on, it goes from no sound to BLASTING with the smallest adjustment. Nearly impossible to get a non-deafening level.

Does stay on the tuned station, drifts up and down.

Look for another model.

I purchased this radio/clock a little over a month ago more for the clock then the radio after reading other reviews, but to my surprise the radio has also worked great! The reception is good, it is easy to tune to preferred stations and has worked like a champ. For the price you can't beat it. The mirror does get fogged up after about 10 minutes, but other than that I have had no issues and would recommend this shower radio/clock to others.

I received this as a gift about three months ago. I use it almost everyday. This is the second shower radio I've owned, the other being the Zadro Bug.



The things I like about this unit include the sound quality, and the digital display. The sound quality beats my previous Zadro hands down. I can actually listen to talk radio, which wasn't possible with the Zadro. The digital display, while isn't always accurate, is way better than markings on a wheel. By the way, battery life has been pretty phenomenal.



What I really don't like about this unit is that the frequency will drift...a lot. On AM radio, it will drift 15kHz over the course of my shower (I have it mounted to a window, so there's a little more temperature difference I suppose). This drifting means I have to constantly retune because once it gets further than 2kHz away, another station starts to bleed in. Thankfully, at least the display is accurate in that sense so I know which was to tune.



What actually caused my to write this review, however, was that the unit will sometimes "go bonkers". The display will start displaying frequencies off the charts, and no radio station is tunable. I've actually witnessed this happen in real-time while "tuned" to 1010 AM. I think this unit isn't as water-resistant as one would hope.



The reason I used this instead of the Zadro, was because this one has AM radio in addition to FM (the zadro only had FM). I found out with use that the sound quality was much better as well. With the zadro, I had to keep blowing into the speaker to keep the water out of it (it would muffle the sound after a while).



I can't comment on either the reception quality, or the cost benefit, because I live sufficiently close to NYC that a transistor lead would be a long enough antenna to receive signal, and because I received it as a gift.

My husband and I love this alarm clock. The projection really comes in handy. Every night, my husband says, "Where's my clock?" and I turn on the projection and put it on the wall on his side of the bed. This is the best alarm clock we've ever had. The projection is very bright and it's very nice that it allows you to focus it so no matter where you shine it you can see it.



Also, I wanted to comment on the excellence of the seller. When I ordered the alarm clock the first time, I opened up the box and plugged it in and when I turned on the projection the first 1 only showed the bottom half of the number. I contacted the seller to get a number and address to return it for a replacement and the next day I received the replacement. I didn't even get to send the old one back before I got the replacement. This seller is wonderful. I was provided excellent service. I wish more sellers and stores had the same ethic and excellent customer service.

This clock radio is a fantastic deal for the money. Some people may not care for the look of it, but I do and find it unique. It projects the time large and very clear on my ceiling, the radio sounds great for an inexpensive clock radio, and it's easy to operate. Some people in the reviews complained about having to set the projection time separately from the normal display time..SO WHAT!! It's EASY, not brain surgery! (Get a grip people, JEEZ..) Anyway, bottom line - GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY, enough said...

I was a disappointed by this product because the time on the projector has to be set separately and the projector only rotates forwards and backwards. If you are looking at the clock, projecting forward, the time appears backwards. You cannot turn the projector so that it appears "right". The clock radio is good, but I ended up buying another product and will sell this one in yard sale or give to Goodwill.

The first one I purchased had a defect in the projection clock. Amazon was very quick in replacing it. I didn't have any problems at all returning it and they kept me very informed through emails on the replacement.



This projection alarm clock was in our room on vacation. My husband had to have one so I bought it for him for Christmas. He loves it. When you wake up at night and wonder what time it is you can see it on the ceiling or wall. You don't have to fumble to find the clock to see what time it is. The radio is also nice. It has great reception. I will recommend this product to all my friends and family.

The clock has a nice large led display. The projection clock is red & the led display is blue. They also have to be set seperately, I did not realize that (minor inconvenience.) The low profile of the volume & tuning knobs makes it difficult to adjust. They also seem a little tight & the frequency tends to drift sometimes. This unit does not have a headphone jack. Also when the radio is playing, you cannot display the led clock, however the projection clock still works, but invisible in daylight. A special button cell type battery is needed for the clock back up that is not included with radio. Lastly, you cannot shut off the projection clock if the alarm mode is in cycle, you have to shut the alarm off first. Overall, I would say the good outweigh the bad with this model. The price was a bargain for its type. The lack of headphone jack is the biggest inconvenience for me & could be for others as well. There are probably better choices, but like anything else I'm sure it will be at a premium cost.

although the alternating radio/time flashing is a bit disconcerting as one of your previous reviews commented. Packing did not hold up well, arrived in torn container and damaged box but product seems to be working satisfactorily.

This one is better looking overall than the 707.

This clock seems to not satisfy some basic requirements of a modern, functional alarm clock:



1.) The only wakeup sound option is radio. There is no actual 'alarm' sound (buzz/beep/etc).

2.) The projection display and the non-projection display are actually two different clocks. You must set them separately.

3.) There is no battery backup.

4.) The "180* swiveling projection display" does not flip when you swivel it, meaning that if you have it pointed one way, the numbers are right-side-up and if you have it pointed the other way, they're upside down.



I plan to return this product ASAP.

I had not really ever heard of a projection alarm clock....but, went to the normal clock makers sites and they were too expensive with too many bells and whistles. Everyone wants to sell you an IPOD player with their clock radio. I am still training myself to look up at the ceiling but it is really cool. The price and design of the product is awesome. The clock is everything they said it would be. I bought it for my son (his first). It's ideal for him to operate. Nothing needs to be done once the initial setup is complete. No worries about setting the alarm every night. It auto sets itself. The red light on the wall or ceiling is wonderful. Even I can see the time when I pass by his room. I always know what time it is if he's ever up at the wrong time. The five stars are not enough credit for everything considered.

This machine is quite adequate for my purpose.

I easily can read the time projected on the ceiling without putting on my glasses which is the reason I bought it.

The radio, alarm, desk-top time display work fine, but I seldom uses these features.

As another reviewer mentioned, you cannot turn the projector so that the projection appears "right".

You can turn the whole clock though, but in my case, the desk-top display faces away; which is a very minor annoyance for me.

The price is very reasonable.
