The clock arrived with intact packaging, no sign of damage or violation by external influences. The clock has positions for time set, date set, alarm set, and a "lock" position - in which none of the times can be adjusted and in which the clock should operate as designed. However, the clock will not "lock" and it is impossible for the alarm function to work without this. The clock also makes an odd ticking sound - especially odd since this is a digital clock. the ticking isn't associated with seconds passing, and varies from a very quick to a slow click, indicative of part of the erroneous functioning of this unit. It's too cheap a clock to deal with return shipping costs. We bought a similar clock at a local pharmacy for the same price which functions as one should. If you buy this be prepared that it may not work and won't be worth the time and hassle to get a refund or replacement (Not that J&R have responded to emails...)

This clock does all you could want.

1. 3 AA batteries, no wires, good life

2. It is easily readable in all types of light

3. The illuminated letters are very easy to read in the dark or low light

4. It is small enough to fit most anywhere, yet very readable, even from a distance

5. Dead quiet, no ticking or humming noise

6. It is heavy enough so that it is not easily knocked off the table

7. It comes red and blue, both are fine but I prefer the red

In short: It's a clock and does it's job, I like it.

This product does not match the description provided, and I was therefore disappointed in my purchase. The lcd numbers are not blue, as advertised and that was the attraction to this clock. They are black and the clock is not illuminated so you can't see the time in the dark making it pointless as a bedside alarm clock. You get a lit up blue screen only when you press the snooze button, which the enclosed directions say uses up the batteries very quickly. Additionally, this clock does not have a power cord, it only runs on batteries.



It was pricey for a little clock, but I bought it anyway because it looked and sounded unique, I thought I'd found something a little different. The shipping was also expensive, and slow. I ordered the clock in black, but when it finally arrived, it was red. You can not detect the descrepancies in description until you open it and put the batteries in. Then, because the clock is sealed in hard plastic that you have to cut open with scissors, you can't really repackage it.



I am unhappy with this being too much money for so little clock, yet, returning it will be a hassle and only rack up more cost making the cost of shipping it here and back as high as the clock itself. I'm out $30 for clock and shipping, and both the gift clock recipient and I are disappointed.

I don't know if I just got a defective model or it this clock is just plain useless. In the picture, the numbers appear bold and black. On the one I was sent, the numbers were extremely faint and the clock had to be rotated to a certain angle to be able to read the numbers at all. If you turned on the light to view the time in the dark, the numbers were completely washed out and you were looking at a blank screen. I tried more than one set of batteries to be sure that it was not a battery issue. The company who I purchased it from readily gave me a full refund and told me to just throw the clock away since I was unwilling to throw good money after bad and mail it back to them. They were very cooperative in issuing a refund. Bad product, but good customer service.

If you are looking for a clock that can be easily read during the day, do not buy this one. The numbers do not stay lit and the color and angle of the unlit display prevents one to be able to readily see the time. The clock has to be tilted to a specific angle in order to view the time without difficulty. The light ONLY goes on for a few seconds after you press the Snooze Button. So, even in the dark of night, you can not see the time unless you press the snooze button. It took me no time to pack this up and send it back to Amazon!

I wanted a simple clock, quiet, that had both time and temp.

I have other temp gauges throughout my place, and the equity

clock is accurate, and perfect for the job. The night time

illumination could be better, but overall, a great deal!!

This alarm clock is absolutely racecar red. It has multiple settings. Date, day, year, temperature.

Most of all the time numbers do not glow at all. So that when I set it down across the room from me I can't see the time.

I have only a small studio and don't have room here next to me to set it down. I need to be able to see the numbers in the dark.



So while it's a pretty clock with many functions. It's just not for me. Also it does not come with the first set of batteries. So be sure to order those. I'll look for something else that will be more useful for me.
