Have had this for about a year. It's a little large for my nightstand, but my biggest complaint is the noise the buttons make when you press them. My hubby wakes up from that noise, not the actual music! The clock display is so bright I have to cover it up (which kinda defeats the purpose of having a night clock!). On the plus side, it automatically sets the time for Daylights Savings :-G Too annoying for the price.

I bought this for my daughters bedroom and we have both been very happy with it. She listens to the radio frequently, and also enjoys plugging her ipod in it to listen to that. It has an alarm clock feature as well. The sound is decent on it, I would recommend this product. We have owned it for 1 1/2 years with no problems.

very happy with the clock dock. the sound is absolutely amazing for the price, even turning the volume up high. much nicer looking and sounds way better than the ihome. remote works well. ipod fits nicely and there is an adjustable piece the back rests on. the brightness i agree is a bit too much. but the way i have it set up it doesnt bother me.

Excellent prodoct. Nice size, sound, quality like you would expect from sony! Love it! and you can use your remote to change your ipod songs, the remote does everything. someone said you couldn't do that on a review and yes, you can. Great item from sony at a great price.

This is functionally a well thought out product wrt to being both a clock radio and an iPod docking station. The sound is most adequate, but not that of the Bose iPod dock station which cost about 3.5X. The adjustable back support is a nice add-on when pressing iPod buttons.

Excellent choice for a couple with 2 iphones--no more hunting around for the charging cables. It is elegant, easy to program. The remote is excellent--it lets you control an ipod (I haven't figured out how to get my iphone to respond the same way). The reception quality for the radio turner is excellent. I use this in the kitchen, rather than in the bedroom, so I don't use the alarm functions. The light for the clock can be dimmed, and it's nice to have another clock in the kitchen. My only complaint is that the volume control on the unit could be easier to adjust (it mimics the wheel of the ipod, but isn't always responsive, so i just use the remote).

The sound is pretty good for it's size and price.



The alarm works nice with the iPhone.



My biggest complaint is that even on the dimmest setting the screen is still very bright.



It also will NOT work with a 1st Gen iPhone which is my opinion is asinine. It will charge the 1st gen iphone, but will not play songs.

This is my second iHome, the first was a single dock that worked for about 6 months and then the volume and tuner knobs stopped working. Luckily we saved the remote or this would be in the trash. My new, 2 month old, iHome (dual dock) is still working, but two of the lit buttons do not light anymore (see the importance of this in next paragraph). Both units have decent sound quality and options. There are multiple alarms which are helpful.



As far as the design of the dual dock iHome goes, I wish iHome would figure out a few things. For one, the buttons are all flush with the body, so it is impossible to set, reset etc, the alarm without turning the lights on or upping the light control on the iHome (since the lit buttons aren't lighting anymore, bedroom lights must come on). Oh yeah that - when you press the snooze bar, the iHome lights toggle through the different brightness settings. This seems like a good idea, and it is totally necessary since even at the lowest setting it lights up my whole room. The bad part of this design is that to sleep, the iHome lights have to be off (unless you like a lit room) and because of that you can't read the time.



iHome must use the cheapest switches that they can find because both iHomes that I have had switch problems within a few months. they have the best sound for the price, as well as options. I wouldn't buy one without a waranty (include that in the purchase price for comparison).

I've used several iHome products and I have to admit that this one is my favorite thus far. In terms of the functions I'm looking for, this is great. Personally, I dont like the remote as much - its a little longer than the previous version. However, I like the overall sound quality, the appearance and the overall function of this iHome.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The other dual dock speakers were not very attractive and the reviews weren't that great. I did a lot of research and decided to take the plunge with this speaker and am very glad I did.

In the past I never wanted an alarm clock speaker for my Ipod or Iphone because I do not like looking at the clock at night (its too bright and I can't sleep!) but my favorite feature on this unit is the snooze/dimmer button, which gives you different brightnesses for the screen, and also goes completely dark!

The sound is great for my bedroom (which is what I bought it for), I am sure for a larger room it would not be sufficient. All that said, I do not use the alarm function (because I use the one on my iphone already.)

Great speaker for the price and it looks really nice and streamline!
