This is by far the best looking alarm clock I have owned. It looks SLICK in a way that makes you turn your head and say, "Wow, that looks slick!" It is nice to have a sophisticated "grown up" alarm clock.
My iPhone 3G plays nicely with it so I can stream music from Pandora or Slacker Radio.
It is PACKED with features and options.
My gripe with it is this... the controls are not lit and are complex tiny things to have to fiddle with in the dark. It is impossible to know what you are doing to it without task light and holding it directly in full view. An alarm clock's interface should be more intuitive and logical than this. If you MUST have such an frustrating layout, at least make it back lit.
I'm not sure why I am giving it 4 stars, because I have had to stop using it due to the frustrating controls. It is pretty!

Gave this Item as a gift to parents. They both like the look of this alarm clock radio. This is probably the best for the money and easy to use.

I was quite shocked when taking this alarm clock out of the box when I saw the fit and finish of the device wasn't up to par with what a production device should exhibit. The surface of the clock area and the meeting of the bottom section has what could only be explained as nicks out of the material. It just doesn't look like a polished ready for release product.
The sound quality of this unit is worse than that of other clock radios. It is exceptionally tinny. Not that I expect great sound quality from a clock radio, but if you add in the capability to play a MP3 player, I'd expect something decent out of the speakers.
Radio reception is horrible. All stations, even on the FM band, have that staticy sound that you get from an AM radio station. I am in an area that radio reception is pretty good and I can't pick up a radio station solidly on this device.
The dual alarm clock is very nice. Having multiple alarms for the two most common waking times is perfect, don't need to change the alarm all the time!
[Edit 1/5/10] - If I could move this to one star I would. The tuning of the radio stations is just so horrific that you can't wake to music on this radio. There really is no point in calling this anything more than an alarm clock. Leave the radio part out of the equation.

I have been looking for "the perfect" clock radio for quite a while and I think I found it!
A marvel of engineering and design -- it's light, airy, amazing looking yet sturdy and substantial at the same time. This is so well designed! I find that the buttons are in the right places, easy to get to and intuitive, they feel very substantial and not flimsy and cheap like so many other electronics today. I don't know how they were able to make a piece that is so substantial and solid feeling yet airy and light and unobtrusive looking. A really great job done though! I am quite impressed and very pleasantly surprised, this feels like a product that will last, which sometimes seems like a thing of teh past- toay everything is made to toss...
I love the non digital radio station dial-- I live in a mountainous area where it's very hard to get any reception, and the manual tuner is a must. And this one is well made and sensitive -- I actually get several stations with this, which I have never been able to get with others I have tried.
On top of it the light display is brilliantly done! The mirror finish is really cool it's a smoky color so not like a shiny standard mirror. And the time is displayed in a golden color that makes it really easy at a quick glance see what time it is whether it's light or dark in the room, yet at night it's very unobtrusive. Living in the mountains we have no ambient light (except the moon when it's full) coming into the bedroom. So, any light source really pops out and I have a hard time sleeping with that in the room. So I have been looking for one that didn't keep me awake. I have tried several ones with adjustable displays but ended up having to toss a piece of clothing over each one I have tried, which makes it a useless time keeper. This one was just perfect.
I really, really like this clock radio and can highly recommend it.

The style of this clock is really nice. The quality of the sound is ok, and although it's easy to use, sometimes it's not that easy to deactivate the alarm. The snooze button is reachable, but the on/off button for the alarm is not. I struggle sometimes in the morning to turn it off. I would still recommend it since it's stylish and it has pretty good functions like a second alarm, an audio jack for you mp3, and a quality FM radio.
