This product has terrible reception. This is extremely disappointing to me as I purchased a new radio with the hopes of improving reception. The reception problems apply to both frequencies (am/fm). Moreover, if you unplug the radio to, for example, move it to another part of the room, you lose all your preset radio stations and clock settings. Extremely inconvenient. I am very disappointed in this product and adamantly do not recommend it.

Great little radio. This was purchased for my father, who requested a radio with a digital dial that would be easy for him to see to tune in his favorite stations. The only problem is that the instruction pamphlet is very lacking. I went on line to see if I could download a instruction booklet with more information. Unfortunately the only instructions available were the same as those that came with the radio.

I purchased this to use at work, but was greatly disappointed. As soon as I plugged in the AC adapter it screached a loud piercing alarm. It functions only on battery power, which drains quickly when you listen to the radio all day at work. I understand you can purchase a different adapter, so that it can be plugged in and use AC power, but I find this to be an unacceptable solution. If you're okay with purchasing an adaptor other than the one that comes with the radio, or running through batteries (or use it rarely enough), then it otherwise functins well. It is easy to program and otherwise functions as expected.

I ordered and received my first one from Amazon. While I was trying it for the first time, I noticed that the tuner did not work properly. For example, when tuning for FM 94.5 radio station, you had to tune this Coby to 94.6 and then there was still static in the background. I called Coby support number to try and "trouble-shoot", but they were not able to fix my problem.
Therefore, I returned 1st unit to Amazon, which I was glad to see that Amazon paid for return shipping. And they shipped me a replacement right away (did not wait for return to arrive).
The replacement 2nd unit seems to be working properly (had for less than a week now). Can't beat the price for the functionality and features on this radio.

Exactly what I wanted. I bought this radio to be able to go to the drive-in and hear the movies as our newer cars did not allow us to pick a station. This radio plays clear and loud and allows you to select a station without auto-find. Great price, quick shipment.
