The RP5415 clock radio is the perfect companion in the morning. The transflective display can be customized to read digital or analog readouts, so you can match the clock to your personal style. The LCD display is in a cool blue color which is light on the eyes and makes it easy to read. The clock can be adjusted to two different levels of brightness to accommodate for different lighting situations. The LCD display also has a digital frequency readout, so you can precisely tune to your favorite radio station. Connect your MP3 player to the audio input jack and enjoy your music any time of the day without having to wear headphones. The dual alarm can be programmed so that you can choose to wake-up to the buzzer or to your favorite radio station. It features a programmable snooze that you can set to ring between 1 to 30 minutes, or by the default setting of every 9 minutes. The snooze button is large and takes up a large amount of the top of the unit, making it easy to find when you're still half asleep.

I decided to give this a try, even after reading the reviews about the volume button. I hoped that the problem had been fixed by this time. No luck. The third time I tried to adjust the volume, the button broke & quit spinning. I really liked the style and size of this radio, along with the mp3 input. If the volume button problem was addressed and fixed, I would definetely consider buying another one. Unfortunately, it's unusable the way it is now.

I got this clock about six months ago. I like it. The blue back light is a bit bright, but you can mess with the brightness. It might sound silly, but one of the reasons I got this clock was because I really liked the analog look. But about 2 months after having it, when I put it on analog the hands don't show up, just the dots around the edges and the one in the middle.
Like other people have said, my volume dial doesn't work, but thankfully it's stuck on medium-loud, which is just fine with me.
It is great for my MP3 music and the 9V battery is great for keeping the time if I move or unplug the clock. I wish it were easier to turn the alarm off in the morning. The snooze button is the whole top of the clock, but the off switch is harder to get to in a sleepy stupor. I'm not a snoozer, so that creates some frustration. All in all, good, but not great.

As others have said, it's kind of a neat little radio. I bought it for my daughter who just has a small shelf next to her bed and this radio fits on it nicely. Unfortunately, as seems to be the norm, the radio we received did not work correctly. On our radio, when you turn on the radio, the display of the station call numbers goes crazy. When we find a radio station, the call number either does not match the station it is on or it just keeps "spinning through different numbers". We are they still selling this product? Now I have to spend $8 to ship it to the RCA's warranty center because the company we bought it from won't accept it.

It's almost perfect, almost. It's an analog face for us old-timers, but with a digital display when setting the time/alarm. The controls are logically laid out and easy to use: tuning and volume are knobs, time and each alarm has separate up and down buttons, etc.
The only thing not quite perfect is that it glows all the time and we want our bedroom 100% dark. Some quick work with a soldering iron and a short piece of wire and I turned the "sleep" button into a "turn on the backlight" button. Now it's dark unless we push the "sleep" button and now it's perfect.

this clock was a lot smaller than I expected. It is good looking with the option to have digital or analog. it would be nice if you could dim the light more; it's quite bright at night. It also has the option of 2 separate alarm settings with either an alarm or music wake-up. My only complaint is the buttons on the back are a bit difficult to work. Also, when the alarm goes off with the radio, it shows the number of the radio station. This can be very disorienting. You set it for 6 am, tuned to radio station #91.5, and you think the actual time is 9:15. Only when you hit the snooze does it adjust.
