I purchased two of these clock radios for my 11-year old, twin, granddaughters. It was time that they were responsible for getting themselves up in the morning, as well as knowing how much time they had to get specific chores done. Also, they could listen to their favorite songs when they were in their rooms, while playing or doing other activities.

I was quite disappointed with this clock radio, meant to be a replacement for my 25+year-old GE. It was too light-weight (I'm sure the cats would have had it on the floor given a day or two), and the radio was dreadful. The buttons were cheesy (guess that means they didn't feel good) and -- well, suffice it to say that I initiated a return the very next day and ordered the RCA RP5400 Smart Snooze Dual Wake AM/FM Clock Radio instead - it's a keeper. Teach me to try to save on shipping!
