Never over-sleep again! Clocky is the alarm clock on wheels that runs away beeping! You can snooze one time, but if you don't get up, Clocky will jump off of your nightstand up to 3 feet high, and run around your room as if looking for a place to hide. You'll have to get out of bed to silence Clocky's alarm. Clocky beeps in an R2D2-like robotic pattern so that you are sure to hear him. He's kind of like a pet, only he will get you up at the right time! You can set Clocky to run away right when the alarm sounds, or set to snooze one time before he runs away. Clocky features a customizable snooze time up to 9 minutes long. You can also turn off Clockies wheels if you don't want Clocky to run away one morning. A backlight helps you see Clocky at night. Clocky is perfect for those of us who have trouble waking up in the morning! He is compact, clever, and playful. He will never cease to amuse you as you wake up in the morning. This is an authentic Clocky alarm clock by the original designers of the product, Nanda Home Inc.

 "Best alarm clock ever" 2010-01-26
By Sleepy (Cambridge, MA)
This is the best alarm clock in the world, and it has nothing to do with the wheels (although they are cute). This alarm makes the MOST ANNOYING SOUND of any alarm I've found. It makes you want to bash the clock to bits with a hammer, and it's definitely impossible to snooze through. So

1) buy the clock

2) put it well out of arm's reach from your bed

It will even work on college students.

"May I suggest an alternative..." 2010-01-13

A recent scientific breakthrough has spawned an alternative to Clocky. Using patented "Put It Over There" technology, you can now purchase a $15 alarm clock and just put it over there... across the room.

"Great for HIgh School or College kids" 2009-12-28
By Laurie L. Lakhani (St Pete Beach, FL)
I bought this at the request of my 18 year old daughter. She doesn't wake up too easily and would sleep through her regular alarm and her cell phone alarm. This works really well. Initially, the alarm goes off and because it has robotic sounds, it wakes her up right away. If she hits the snooze button for 1 minute and ignores it, Clocky jumps off of her night stand and rolls around on her floor making loud beeping sounds. She has a thick rug and it doesn't roll around too well on that, but the fact that she has to get out of bed to shut if off works. The only drawbacks with Clocky that I can see are no backlight feature, so you can't tell time at night and also the price is high. It is not made of the best materials, but so far it is holding up. I would buy it again.Clocky Alarm Clock on Wheels in Chrome

 "Purchased 2, Neither worked." 2009-12-26

I purchased clocky for my son last Christmas and this Christmas. Both times I opened the package, put the batteries in and nothing happened. Total junk. Buyer beware, this product sucks. Cute concept, but what a piece of crap.

"good alarm sound, but that's about it" 2009-11-26
By Caraculiambro (La Mancha and environs)
I'm not sure how solidly-made this is. Since it jumps off your nightstand, you'd better not have a linoleum or wooden floor: it think it would break before long.

I would also like to point out that Clocky runs around in random directions for only about 15 seconds. After that it stops and merely beeps crazily in place.

Why don't you just put your alarm clock in the bathroom instead? That way you have to get up and walk some distance to turn it off.
