"Good, but could be better" 2010-01-27
By Rujith de Silva (Boston MA, USA)
Pros: Projection is very good, focusable, and can be turned (didn't measure

the actual angle covered). It's just perfect for the night: large, red

numbers, easily visible, but not so bright as to disturb.

Lots of features: barometer, weather forecast, min/max temperature for both

outside and inside, radio, alarm, settable to both 24-hour and Celsius.

Cons: The main display projection has three levels: off, too bright, and

extremely bright. "Too bright" means bright enough for shadows at night!

So I have it set to off. The convenient snooze button on top switches the

display on, but only briefly, too briefly. It's long enough to see the

main details, but too short if you want to do something, such as change the

alarm settings. It would be nice if the snooze activated the display light

for (say) 15 seconds.

The connection to the outside remote thermometer unit is iffy. I think the

remote transmits once a minute or so, and the main unit tries to

synchronize with it to listen once a minute. But the two get out of sync.

So you have to manually re-sync by pressing a button on the main unit

called "Resync", which (I guess) makes the main unit listen continuously

until it receives the signal.

A 5 day/2 day alarm would be great.

 "poor reception, poor projection" 2009-01-18
By Ron E. Drennan (Carmi Il)
I was disappointed, having my expectations set by reading their description of the product (and not reviews). The projection time does not rotate very well, does NOT cover the 180 degeress advertised. I have a difficult time capturing radio stations (much worse than my previous 10 year old clock radio)with the remote kept in my car (must stay dry). Time sync is good, mp3 play works well. Alarm is ony 7 day, and not so easy to turn/off, so I get the alarm 7 days a week. A 5 day a week alarm such as is in my phone would be very nice.

If it did what it says it does it would be nice, but their sales department seems to be out of sync with their engineering/production departments.

 "Some victories, some disappointments" 2007-12-18
By Ronald R. Burkholder (Lebanon, OR)
Victories:Time/date, updated daily/In-Out Temp(neat!)/clock alarm/Projects the time on ceiling.(My goal in purchase.)

Disappointments:That's good(time on ceiling)BECAUSE the color/temp. face display hasn't displayed after three weeks. The radio/speakers are weak in quality/reception. The snooze alarm is only a beep not the radio.

 "Interesting Clock" 2007-06-25
By J. Green (Long Island)
Projection, clock and radio with color clock changing temperatures all rolled into one. For some reason my daughter really likes it and that is all that counts. She is amused on how the clock changes color with the temperature and projects the time on the ceiling. It is also has atomic adjusted time and a pressure trend with a weather forcast. This is almost like a toy for a child, but adults may not like the flimsy design or the sound. Will have to see how this clock holds up over time.
