I love my Bob clock. It has all the features I could want and it's fun, too. I use it mostly as a timer and regular clock, but the date, alarm and temperature are excellent additions. The original design and bright colors make it a truly wonderful accessory. It's almost like a cute little sculpture on my desk. I've had it for several weeks now and so far I haven't found anything I don't like about it.
Someone mentioned that the alarm isn't loud enough, but I don't use it as an alarm clock, I actually use the timer function for blocks of work time. Since I work mostly at night, I like the quiet beeping because it doesn't wake the whole house up and doesn't make me jump when it goes off.

The design is cool and all, but the battery consumption is absolutely ridiculous. It uses *three* batteries, which last about a month. My older Timex alarm clock uses one battery, which lasts at least a year. I wouldn't consider using this clock ethical unless I used it with rechargeable batteries. For now, I'm back to my old clock.

The clock works fine, and I enjoy the temperature function. However it sometimes beeps when changing to other functions, i.e. timer or date, when it is not touched. The constant random beeping does get a little annoying.

Bought this clock a few months ago. The 12 bucks seemed reasonable. There are a few things that I like: 1) The design is neat. Even when I think that it is going to fall over after a "good" tap, it pops right back up (not necessarily in the same spot that it was orginially-but at least it is still standing. 2) I like the fact that I can just touch it to change modes. The light is bright enough to see. 3) I also like that is displays the temperature--it seems pretty accurate.
I DO NOT like: The biggest problem that I have with this clock is that the alarm is not LOUD enough. I'm a very sound sleeper and I found myself questioning if I had correctly set the alarm since I never heard it. The alarm is pretty much the only thing that I NEED. Since it isn't loud enough to wake me up, I have to give it 1 Star. Brookstone should have made the alarm louder OR put a switch in there where you have a choice for a louder alarm.
If you need a louder alarm to get you going in the morning, stay away from this clock!
